This is our 4th annual Burgundy “En Primeur” tasting event in Hong Kong and it follows the tradition of similar events in Burgundy dating back to 1859 when the first “Hospice de Beaune” auction took place.

Our Club members along with other Burgundy lovers from Hong Kong, Macau, across Asia and from around the world had the unique opportunity to taste and preorder wines from the 2016 vintage. Wines from more than 28 of Burgundy’s top domaines were presented at the tasting. Wine growers from 18 domaines made the journey from France to Hong Kong to participate in this year’s event and were available to discuss their wines and domaines.

This year, we presented three non Burgundy domaines and two wine growers – Benoît Marguet from Champagne Marguet and Olivier Riviere from Spain joined our events as well. The 3rd domaine presented was Comando G from Siera Gredos, Spain – considered as one of the most exciting wine projects in the world today.
