Domaine Duroché Clos de Bèze Hommage a Philippe

The Chambertin Clos de Bèze vines were planted in 1920 and are today the oldest parcel of the domaine. In 2020, in memory of his grandfather–Phillippe, Pierre created this special cuvée of Clos de Bèze Hommage a Philippe.  Grapes from 100 years old vines.

The parcel in Clos de Bèze was planted in 1920 it was planted with horses, not tractors.  Pierre said, there are not many bunches on each vine, but there are many vines, so the yield becomes quite decent. Because of the terroir, Clos de Bèze has its distinct character.
