Domaine Andre et Mireille Tissot

Domaine Tissot was founded almost 60 years ago and is run today by Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot. The domaine covers prime located vineyards area of 35 hectares in the Arbois & Cote de Jura appellations. Viticulture is biodynamic and use of sulphites is tiny. The main white varieties are Savagnin and Chardonnay. The Savagnin barrels are not topped, resulting in typically oxidized character wines. The chardonnay barrels are topped but display unique “Jura style” character as well. This quest for aromatic diversity has lead to production of 28 different cuvées, often terroir by terroir, with lots of innovations which take into account the incredible diversity of the vineyards of the Jura.
