Kei Shiogai is a talented winemaker from Burgundy, originally from Japan. He pursued his studies in viticulture and vinification in Beaune and Dijon, where he developed a deep understanding of the region’s terroir and winemaking traditions. After gaining valuable experience at prestigious domaines such as Pacalet, Rousseau, and Roulot, Kei decided to establish his own winery.

Kei is known for his meticulous approach to vineyard management, emphasizing low yields to ensure the highest quality grapes. His winemaking philosophy focuses on natural techniques, including vinifying with whole clusters and minimal sulfites, reflecting his precise vision.

A perfectionist, Kei’s work is a fusion of his Japanese roots and his passion for Burgundy, drawing inspiration from his diverse experiences in the region. This combination allows him to respect the unique characteristics of each terroir, even while navigating the inherent risks.
